Our client is a youth orientated charitable organisation who offer a vibrant and challenging working environment in stunning offices.
 
They have a great opportunity for a Temporary Marketing Assistant to join their team in Nottinghamshire. This is a hands-on role which encompasses a wide variety of disciplines, with a strong focus on administrative activities to support the Marketing team and projects.
 
Main responsibilities:
Support the Marketing team in planning and producing effective materials for the full range of services and activities.  
Booking in of all work requests received from internal clients to include design, print, copy, digital online and social media.  
Input to the online work schedule to ensure all work is booked in and allocated to relative resource.
Ensure all content required for work requested is delivered by clients, accurately and on time.
Support the team in proof-reading work completed in the studio.
Provide administrative support for the activity of the team relating to the delivery of marketing communications and creation of collateral.
Potential for copywriting and creative output on amendments to work in progress.
Request quotations from supplier and printers for merchandise and print i.e. posters, t-shirts etc.
Generate purchase orders ready for sign off.
Draft emails on project status.
Coordinate print requirements with clients.
Collate information, analytics, results, key performance indicators for departmental reports and implement new time reports.  
Regular dialogue with clients querying requirements on behalf of the team.
Setting up and attending meetings and in some cases documenting these meetings.
General administrative duties.
 
Key Skills/Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar role.
Qualification in English and/or Marketing.
Computer literate with an excellent knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office with a particular focus on Excel or Smartsheets.
An understanding of planning and time management.
Experience and knowledge of Branding.
Experience of supporting events or marketing activities demonstrated by examples.
Capable of managing own time efficiently and reporting and advising on timeframes associated with workload.
Excellent organisational skills.
 
This job is initially offered as a short term contract until the end of October 2019 but there is a possibility that it may be extended.
 
This contract will paid on an hourly rate.
