Our client is a leading Brand and Retail Design Agency in Derbyshire. They work with some of the best brands and blue chip clients in the world across branding, retail and digital design.
They now have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Designer to join their passionate 2D team.
The successful candidate will lead and develop complex 2D projects and inspire teams to ensure that an initial concept is developed, detailed and successfully delivered through to the final stages on time and on budget.  You will be involved in every stage of the project and use key insights to build, present and sell a winning solution to clients.

Key responsibilities:
Create and develop fantastic designs across multiple media, including branding and identity, brand comms, campaigns, Retail POS, packaging, in-store theatre.
Take an idea and add a touch of magic to bring the work to life; you’ll work across large scale projects as well as smaller, faster moving clients and you could be on a number of projects in one day.
Work with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure solutions meet or exceed our clients’ strategic objectives.
Work on multiple projects of varying complexities, meet tight deadlines and support the rest of the team.
Follow the correct design processes and create high quality deliverables for projects.
Lead and participate in internal and client facing presentations.
Mentor, inspire and manage more junior members of the team.
Key Skills:
Excellent knowledge of Adobe CS suite, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Excellent typography skills.
Excellent knowledge of paper sizes, formats, printing techniques and typefaces.
Excellent knowledge of how different disciplines influence 2D, from retail graphics, interiors / information design, motion graphics, digital and branding – able to work with any discipline.
Solid understanding of the artwork and sign off process.
Awareness of industry trends and new techniques and able to communicate them back to the team.
