Job Specification:

Our client is a small but perfectly formed design consultancy on the outskirts of Nottingham city centre, based in a new office development, walking distance from the city centre but benefiting from plenty of parking. Their client base is varied, but all clients have been with the agency for many years and have proven to be extremely loyal.

They have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, self motivated Web Developer to join their forward thinking team. You will be developing innovative web applications for a variety of clients and will have the ability to design and develop interactive user-facing features. A strong background in programming with experience of requirements analysis, data modelling, systems design and development is essential as you will be required to take part in all aspects of software development. This role will suit a keen technologist with a passion for agile methodologies, coding standards, elegance and usability.

The successful candidate will be fully Mac proficient and will have proven experience of using XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Jquery is essential.

The following is desirable but not essential:

Experience of Flash AS2/3

Knowledge of Symfony Framework

Experience of working with PHP classes

Familiar with PHP OOP

Understand and work on LAMP server setups.
