Job Specification:

A fantastic opportunity to join the team that leads the market - working at the cutting edge of impulse display & merchandising. Due to continued growth our client needs a Studio Manager to lead and develop both their Graphic & Product Design Teams and to implement procedures and processes to help support continued rapid growth within a culture of continuous improvement.

Working in both customer facing and production teams you will be heavily involved in the acquisition, planning, preparation, co-ordination and production of customer projects on time to short lead times and high standards. You will need to be an experienced heavyweight 3D Designer/Cardboard Engineer to lead the Product & Graphic Design Departments in a growing POS/POP print business.

Skills required:

The successful candidate will have previous experience of leading a (creative) team in a busy, demanding environment is essential.

A minimum 7-10 years experience of cardboard engineering in POS/POP production environment with a sound technical knowledge of manufacturing techniques and materials together with extensive CAD/CAM and sampling experience.

Outstanding project and people management skills.

Proficient in using Kasemake to a high level.

Ability to interpret complex briefs and produce innovative, manufacturable solutions.

You must be able to demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of construction techniques and a proven track record of innovation/creativity to include complex pre-filled FSDU’s and mixed media solutions.

It is essential to have a clear sense of commercial prioritisation, great time management, team work and planning skills together with the integrity, communication and interpersonal skills that come with a true professional’s ability to manage other stakeholders’ expectations and to meet demanding deadlines.

High quality standards an eye for detail is essential.
