Job Specification:
Based in Staffordshire, our client runs one of the leading rewards scheme websites in the UK. They currently have an exciting opportunity for an Online Marketing Executive to join their forward thinking team who are responsible for the marketing of
the website across all marketing mediums including public relations, online marketing, affinity marketing and affiliate marketing, social networking, forums.
Reporting into the Marketing Manager you will be primarily responsible for ensuring timely delivery of all aspects of marketing programs both internally and externally ensuring that the company achieves its strategy with a consistent brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Marketing Manager in the implementation and execution of the marketing activities to get new members and get increased purchase via the site.
Execution of all agreed seasonal marketing campaigns alongside the Marketing Manager and other departments.
Research pre and post campaign results to measure the delivery on ROI.
Work with the Marketing Manager to improve web pages to help conversion of marketing campaigns.
Development of the overall company communication programme with its growing database of members.
Production of weekly newsletters.
Email Marketing - move more towards better targeting of offers to increase open and click through rates as well as subsequent purchase behaviour. Optimise the content of emails via testing.
Involvement in key online areas such as banners, dynamic banners and PPC search; from briefing creative to reviewing performance and taking action when required.
Continued development of the business in the social networking arena.
Involvement in affiliate marketing.
Day-to-day liaison with media agencies.
Continuous review of the website to ensure that all information is factually correct and up to date.
Writing of blogs.
To set up and maintain a competitions area on the site and the promotion of this area.
The successful candidate will have proven marketing skills with the ability to promote products and offers to their best ability and have a strong understanding of how price, offer and incentives can be used to drive response and profitability. You will have excellent analytical and reporting skills with a keen eye for detail. Experience of briefing creative and management of timely delivery is essential.
Email Marketing – experience of email marketing and customer relationship management including segmentation is desirable.
You will be educated to degree level with a strong passion for marketing and a full understanding of the marketing mix. A CIM qualification or equivalent is preferable but not essential.
